Since our first tour, Valley Isle Excursions has focused on being the most eco-friendly Maui Tour. The nature of our tour itself reduces pollution and environmental damage by guiding small groups through one of the most environmentally sensitive places on earth, Heavenly Hana. Leaving a small footprint is not possible by following a book or CD, driving a rental car and eating boxed lunches. Unlike other tour companies tours to Hana we aspire to be a Maui eco tour in every way. Our custom built tour vans require less gas and maintenance, they are cleaned with environmentally friendly products with minimal water usage. Our tour meals are not boxed lunches but served with earth friendly napkins, real utensils and plates. We provide drinks in bottles that will be recycled and the melted cooler ice goes to water the plants in our base yard. Our office and base yard utilize every eco-friendly business technique we can think of, even our website servers are powered by green energy. Sustainability and environmental responsibility is and will always be a priority. It's not just because we love our island; it's because it's the right thing to do on Maui.
