PLAYING IT SAFE

Maui is a rural community.  Most visitors to our island enjoy our beautiful beaches, mountains, rain forest and other natural wonders.  Few places are as safe as Maui but that doesn't mean you should abandon all care as you travel about. Lock your car doors and keep valuables out of sight. 911 works here should you have an emergency requiring police assistance.

HAWAII'S ENVIRONMENT

Maui's environment is stunning but also fragile.  Bringing in plants, produce or animals could introduce pests and non-endemic species that could ruin our island paradise.  For information 0n how you can help protect our island home call (808) 873-3655 or point your browser to the
STATE OF HAWAII PLANT QUARANTINE PROGRAM.
