Being a weatherperson on Maui has to be the most boring job in the world. Day after day of temperatures in the eighties, incredibly blue skies with puffball clouds, tradewinds that soothe and refresh.
But there is plenty of diversity as well. Maui's microclimates range from tropical seashore to alpine forest, from rainforest teeming with life to some of the most productive agricultural lands in the world. We have a 10,000 foot mountain, the dormant volcano Haleakala. Winter temperatures at the summit are wintery and it is not unusual to enjoy a light dusting of snow in the morning and then spend the afternoon basking in the sun and snorkeling over a pristine reef.
Hard to describe and do justice. Best for you to hop on a plane and feel it for your self. Our weather is a big factor that helps make Maui The "Best Island In The World."
